We are constantly receiving endorsements, positive feedback and thanks for the work that we are doing but this email hit differently with me because it identifies entirely the primary objective of The Unseen Victims Project and the necessity for the work we do.
Lived and learned experiance is crucial on a journey supporting a loved one on their journey through the Criminal Justice System. Speaking to a person who has direct experiance of the challenges, anxieties and fears that present themselves is key to encouraging proactive and not reactive approaches to what lies ahead.
Thank you for your kind words…
“Hi Emma,
Thank you so so much for taking the time to speak to me earlier. I’m so sorry if I rattled on, it really is and has been a roller coaster of emotions with so many twists and turns of events.Like you said it’s such a shame I didn’t have access to your support network right at the beginning as that would have helped me through my darker times but I’m so glad my partner passed your website on to me and I’m here now able to reach out. Finally speaking to someone who can relate, understand and explain how everything works legally really has helped me. Finally feeling less alone. Your advice was much appreciated and having someone I could talk to freely without judgement meant the world.I feel inspired hearing your story and you’re so brave with everything you’ve been through and now committing to helping others. I’d love to check out your Facebook support group. Will keep you updated”
