Everyday we are driven by our vision and mission to make a difference to the unseen victims.
To support those who are the unseen victims of someone else's wrongdoing. This typically includes the loved ones (parents, spouses, children, relatives, friends, etc.) of individuals who have committed crimes. Whether their loved ones are currently incarcerated or on their way to court, we are here to provide assistance.
Our mission is to offer hope, resources and practical solutions to families during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

Unseen Victims, created by Emma Wells, aims to provide support and assistance to the loved ones of individual involved in the criminal justice system. Emma, who has been offering support to these individuals for almost a decade, wrote and published the book “Unseen Victims” in 2023. The book delves into the knowledge and insights she has gained regarding supporting people throughout the criminal justice process. It is available for purchase on Amazon by clicking here.
Following the publication of the book we have launched this website and we have big plans.
Our primary focus is supporting those who are the unseen victims of someone else’s wrongdoing. This typically includes the loved ones (parents, spouses, children, relatives, friends, etc.) of individuals who have committed crimes. Whether their loved ones are currently incarcerated or on their way to court, we are here to provide assistance. We also recognise that loved ones of individuals who have been falsely accused may also be considered unseen victims. It is often the unseen who bear the burden of accompanying the accused on their journey, and we want to be there to help them support their loved ones.
This is not to say that we don’t want to support the accused. However, resources for the accused already exist, and our role is to guide the unseen victims towards those resources that can benefit the accused.
We have established a support group specifically for unseen victims. It serves as a safe space where individuals can ask any questions they may have. To join the group, simply click here. We are also active on Twitter and Instagram.
Our aim is to differentiate ourselves from just another Facebook group. We aspire to create tangible and practical solutions that genuinely help the unseen victims who find themselves involuntarily entangled in the criminal justice system.
One of our initial ideas involves offering online and email support seven days a week. We are working diligently to make this service available as soon as possible. Additionally, we are considering providing assistance with travel to prisons and accommodations for those who need to visit loved ones held far from home. These are just a few examples of the extensive plans we have in store. We will turn our vision into reality through hard work and support
