HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO US πŸ’ƒπŸŽŠπŸ₯³πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰πŸΎ

Two years ago,Β Unseen Victims launched our safe social media space, we currently have 1.4k members. We are recognised at the 5th largest prison family support group (Grok, May 25) β€” We began this journey nervously, a little rough around the edges, but with a mission stitched tightly to its core. And what a journey it’s been. 🎈πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰πŸΎπŸŽŠπŸ’ƒπŸ‘―πŸ’ͺ🎈

From the beginning, this project was never meant to be easy. It’s been raw. It’s been emotional. And at times, it’s been incredibly overwhelming. There have been moments late nights, tough days, heartbreaking stories where we’ve looked at each other and quietly asked, Can we really keep going?

But somehow, we did. Every time. Because something beautiful kept happening: people showed up. Hearts opened. Stories were told. And slowly, invisibility began to fade …

Emma, along with our ever-growing (and occasionally caffeine-fuelled) team of volunteers, has poured every ounce of love and energy into making sure survivors are seen, heard, and held. These stories the ones that used to live in the shadows are now being met with compassion, courage, and connection.

The impact? Honestly, it’s been humbling. We’ve watched awareness grow, tough conversations begin, and long-silenced truths finally find the air they deserve. It’s not just a project anymore. It’s a movement and we have supported thousands of individuals and families just this year, alone.

And yet let’s be real we’re still massively underfunded. The work is powerful, but the resources are limited. If you’ve been moved by what we do, please consider donating. Every bit helps us keep going and keep growing.

Besides the day to day operations carried out by our amazing team we run regular campaigns and incentives to encourage our community engagement and promote proactive and positive attitudes to assist with the enormous emotional and financial burden placed on families when a loved ones life becomes embroiled on a journey through the UK Criminal Justice System.

We have 24/7 peer support available, telephone and webchat services, a toolbox that has been created for the specific challenges that are associated with these difficult journeys. We offer advocacy, lived experience support, advice that is available for members that includes accessibility to numerous of our team and group members who have had careers in law, prison and probation roles, social care, mental health and substance abuse. We support anyone, THERE IS NO JUDGEMENT regardless of your circumstances or situation, you are not alone is our mantra and we mean this … ❀️❀️❀️

Our motto is Embrace, Empower, Elevate, Educate and we will continue to do so for as long we are able to do so …. If you like what we are doing and can support us please do so here: Fundraiser by Lisa Poulter : We Need Your Help to Keep Supporting Unseen Victims β€οΈβš–οΈβ€οΈ

To everyone who’s supported, shared, or stood with us over these past two years: THANK YOU

This isn’t just a milestone.. It’s a reminder of why Unseen Victims was started in the first place.

Here’s to continuing the work., one voice, one story, one powerful truth at a time
