Unseen Victims is incredibly proud to announce that we have been awarded Second Place in the “Outstanding Lived Experience Organisation” category — a powerful recognition of the work we do to support families and loved ones affected by the criminal justice system.
We want to extend our heartfelt THANK YOU to the Criminal Justice Alliance for recognising our efforts, our values, and the lived experience that drives every part of our organisation. This acknowledgment means so much to us, and to the families whose voices we work tirelessly to amplify.
We also want to thank our AMAZING TEAM and our 1,500+ members, who are at the heart of everything we do. Your courage, honesty, and willingness to share your stories make Unseen Victims what it is. This recognition belongs to all of you.
Every day, Unseen Victims CIC supports families at all stages of the criminal justice journey — from arrest and court, to imprisonment, release, and reintegration.

Our work includes:
❤️Peer and emotional support for those experiencing stigma, trauma, and isolation
❤️Guidance and practical help navigating courts, prison visits, and the justice system
❤️Advocacy and campaigning to elevate the voices of families nationwide
❤️Information, resources, and signposting for those who feel overwhelmed or silenced
We weren’t able to attend in person but being acknowledged as an outstanding lived experience organisation reinforces our commitment to ensuring that families affected by the criminal justice system are truly seen, heard, and supported.
As we look ahead to next year, we are excited to continue growing — expanding our reach, strengthening our services, and supporting even more families across the UK.
Together, we will continue turning unseen struggles into shared strength. ❤️❤️❤️
