Unseen Victims CIC has launched a dedicated support initiative for families whose loved ones are arrested during free speech demonstrations and protest rallies across the UK. With over 200 individuals supported so far this year alone, the CIC is working tirelessly to ensure no family is left isolated during one of the most frightening and uncertain times they may ever face.
When a loved one is taken into custody at a rally, families are often left feeling confused, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next. Too often, they find themselves navigating complicated legal and emotional challenges without guidance. At Unseen Victims, we believe that it can happen to anyone, at any time—and families deserve support without judgement or delay.

Through our new initiative, families affected by protest-related arrests can access:
- Real-time emotional support to help manage the immediate shock and anxiety.
- Legal and financial guidance to understand next steps and available resources.
- A 24/7 safe listening line for those needing someone to talk to at any hour.
- Peer advocacy and community support from others who have been through similar experiences.
All of our services are free and confidential, designed to offer families reassurance and practical help at their most vulnerable moments.

Despite the growing need, Unseen Victims is massively underfunded. Our small team is stretched to capacity, yet the demand continues to rise. With more protests taking place across the UK, the likelihood of families suddenly facing this situation is higher than ever.
We are calling on funders, supporters, and the public to recognise that this is not an isolated issue—it can happen to anyone, at any time.
